Présentation
Michel LEGRAND / Jacques DEMY Le Cinéma en-chanté Michel Legrand et Jacques Demy, c'est bien plus qu'une collaboration entre un compositeur et un cinéaste, c'est une rencontre fusionnelle entre deux poètes. En Legrand, Demy a trouvé un frère de création, un véritable double musical. Son univers à la fois coloré et souvent cruel semble à jamais indissociable des mélodies envoûtantes du musicien, de ses orchestrations à haute-sophistication, de son lyrisme à l'infini, de son appétit pour tous les langages, du baroque au jazz. A l'occasion de la sortie de l'intégrale Demy chez Arte Vidéo, la collection Ecoutez le cinema ! propose la toute première anthologie Demy/Legrand, de Lola à Trois places pour le 26. Trente ans de fraternité partagée, jalonnée d'extraits des grands classiques (Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort, Peau d'âne) mais aussi de bandes originales rares pour la première fois éditées en CD (L'évènement le plus important depuis que l'homme a marché sur la lune, Lady Oscar). Pour cet album, Michel Legrand a spécialement réenregistré les chansons de Parking... mais aussi un magnifique extrait d'Anouchka, comédie musicale restée inédite. Un disque enchanté pour se souvenir d'une collaboration en-chanté.
